9.2 Reviewer Registration

To participate in Online Reviews, a reviewer must normally proceed through User registration in a manner similar to that of applicants.

Instead of registering a Proposal, reviewers are normally asked to provide information about their areas of expertise relevant to the decision process.  This information is recorded as “reviewer properties” in the database and later used in matching individual reviewers to applications.  An example of areas of expertise, and the levels of expertise that reviewer are able to specify is as follows:

As part of reviewer registration, reviewers are asked for contact information and may optionally also be asked about language capabilities, willingness to participate in the Selection Committee process, etc.
